Toms Tail Lights - Clarification
 

Hi Guys,

First time posting, both my brother and I just received our 2014 Subaru BRZ's a few weeks ago and want to change the tail lights.

We have both been looking at the Toms Tail lights with the red lens. We are both located in Melbourne, does anyone know where I can grab 2 sets from ?
If so, are they Australian complied, eg legal, PLUG AND PLAY ?

AustralianCarMods have been very helpful, but have run out of stock.

I believe prospeedracing has them with free shipping, as I was looking to get a set myself. The JDM items are plug-n-play. And you'll need to swap out the led flasher as well. If they have reflectors (which they do) then they should meet ADR requirements. Some aftermarket tail lamps don't have reflectors.

On the NSW 86/BRZ Car Club page, someone's posted the ADR compliance certificate for Tom's lights. They really don't draw attention from police because they're not dark.

What kind of price did you get from Import Monster? And i know they've offered install in the past on these, are they fitting them for you or you doing it yourself?

To those who have installed the Tom's tailights, did you re-use the stock gasket or does it come with new gaskets? Has anyone had any issues with it with regards to condensation etc?

I suspect this probably got deleted at some point - we had a bit of an issue with the administrator of the page throwing a hissy fit recently. I'll try to see if I can get a source.

Has anyone given you grief over them, though? Definitely shouldn't be an issue for Tom's lights.
