Does anyone have a JR SC installed?

I have found the JR Supercharger online and it puts "285whp" according to their dyno with stock header and exhaust.

Does anyone have one installed that can tell me if this is right or not?

285 whp with everything else stock seems doubtful from what I've been reading... honestly i haven't seem much compared to kits like vortech, AVO, and innovate...

Yeah I am really really doubtful, but it would be nice. I was really hoping that someone had one installed and could say. It looks like a nice kit though.

Paging @sklimo and @PrimeMotoring

Looks like they got 264hp with aftermarket headers. My guess is sklimo's tune is more conservative than Jackson Racing's tune. Nothing a new pulley can't fix probably.

You rang?? LOL

Yeah 264 to the wheel with stock injectors and pump.

hamlet 02-11-2014 01:59 PM

I have one. Haven't dynoed though. My butt tells me 240-250 HP range though

Zach3794 02-11-2014 02:01 PM

I have the KW supercharger which is nearly the same thing...these put out 275 on the basemap which is not that far off from the target. 10whp isn't much of a variance :)

sklimo 02-11-2014 02:02 PM

Mine was dyno'd on Mustang dyno. Maybe dyno in first post is on dynojet??

Zach3794 02-11-2014 02:04 PM

Like I said, 10-20hp can easily be attributed to a different dyno. In any case, both kits have the potential for massive top end :)

Keep in mind, these numbers are on a hub dyno, which can read higher than a roller type (Dynojet, Mustang, DD, etc.)

CSG Mike 02-11-2014 02:06 PM

We do. That dyno is accurate.

Don't focus on the absolute numbers. Focus on the % gain.

48.96% gain ((282.7-186.5)/186.5)

Zach3794 02-11-2014 02:06 PM

There you have it :)

Low reading Mustang dyno here compared to a hub dyno.
