Considering Motive Autowerks Brace?

To anyone who is considering purchasing a Motive Autowerks Master Cylinder brace .... DONT DO IT. In my experience this is a very low quality item. Sure it may serve its purpose, but for how long? During install the paint immediately started flaking off and after a couple months of being on the car the thing began to rust. Very disappointed and really quite a loss here. 60 bucks for a piece of non stainless steel metal with cheap paint. Just a heads up guys!

:( was so excited when I first found the MCB. Good thing I read this post before buying. Thanks for the heads up!
Btw is it not possible to repaint it so that it doesn't flake off?

Ok so before I buy one, I want to know: do you feel a noticeable/considerable difference?

I think I bought one off of you a while back. Some of the finish has chipped off but no signs of rust. Still works great

Under hard braking, yes. IMO it's a necessity if you do motorsport because without one, you could feel the firewall flexing especially under hard braking, which isn't very confidence inspiring and probably inhibits your ability to learn or use threshold braking. In daily driving however, you won't notice much of a difference.
