HKS Legamax with Berk Tech Catted front pipe installed
Just posting this for those out there looking for info on how the high flow cats change your exhaust sound. Sorry, no pics since there's not much to show.
The HKS Legamax is an interesting exhaust, it's got a comparatively large muffler so it's maybe 20% louder than stock across the range, with a loud cold start. Overall its definitely one of the quieter exhausts and is generally unoffensive (except for the large tips) and tame (compared to those with muffler deletes).
The tone is smooth and refined, it's a departure from a lot of the split-canister exhausts.
Adding in the HFC takes the tone and adds some rumble and maybe 10% more volume or so. I'd say it generally sounds more aggressive than stock, which is probably explained by the loss of the small resonator thats on the stock front pipe.
