Prova fender vents
Has anyone on here ordered these things? I have a black BRZ and really want some but curious what an owners impressions are (fit and finish), and maybe some pics of one in black.
Also, where to order them? Nengun has them on for $300, but it doesn't seem like they have them in black. Rallysportdirect has them, but for $100 more. |
Fitment is fixed using bolt/nut method (stock is plastic clips to secure). Fit and finish you can check on Rally Sport Direct's website on their demo car (pic below). The product link on RSD's website also has a YouTube video that shows more info. http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Prov...rld-Rally-Blue I personally would prefer the clip method (like the TRD vent uses) as it's much easier to install/remove.
It's a shameless plug but I've got some DAMD brand fender vents if you're interested. They're exactly the same as the Prova ones but they're under the DAMD brand instead. It was a joint collaboration between Prova x DAMD. Color is DGM but a local paint shop can always paint them a different color for you. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57544 http://www.rallysportdirect.com/user...00FA002C_2.jpg |
This isn't much help at the moment, but I have some on their way right now. I ordered from Nigel JDM, $300 shipped to my door. Going to have a body shop use them as a template and cut the fender behind them to make functional vents.
