Yup, just need a 5v input into the evap and rear o2 sensor, and two custom racerom maps for both, good stuff. We used a recycled PC power supply, and then just put in two potentiometers :)

Does this mean that I can already connect the output of my Failsafe Wideband to the rear O2 and be able to log it in a custom map?

Looks like it.

Rear O2 Sensor Voltage as an Input into Custom Maps

This additional input can be used for any number of options when you need a 0 to 5v input into Custom Maps.

Awesome!!

Now need @jamesm and/or @nelsmar or anyone else to tell me what pin (on the rear O2 plug) I need to connect to.

Here you go... from page 48 of the ecutek docs. Get that thing wired in and it'll make both of our lives much easier :)

Great! Was thinking doing it at the O2 connector (in the engine bay) so need to figure out which one there. Not to fond of splicing the oem harness

that is a far cry from live tuning... but it's a step in the right direction. i usually just use the map modes to load 4 different fuel or timing maps and switch between, which seems like a lot simpler way to gain most of the benefit. with the pots you'd have to go back in and blow away the custom maps, remove all the wiring, then restore whatever you had wired in before and all of the custom maps associated with them. a decent idea, but probably only for someone doing research work on an engine dyno or something like that.

oh yes... i'll see if i can find that for you. probably a cleaner solution. maybe even de-pin it and make it nice and reversible.

So from the wiring diagram:

This is the A34 connector, and we need to connect to pin 21:

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-A....28%2520PM.png

Pin 21 takes signal from the C13 Rear O2 connector, blue wire (see below) #3 on C13

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-R....08%2520PM.png

Finally, below is C13, the Rear O2 connector. I'm in the process of connecting the Failsafe White cable (analog AFR output) to pin #3 in C13.

sweet! i'll have a new rom with the scaling added in your email by the time you're done with that. :party0030:

This is the table AEM gives for output AFR vs. Volts.

well the CPC pressure sensor input isn't used on most cars so you can leave that one wired in and as others have said you can run to the signal pin on the o2 sensor plug so its just a case of plugging that one in

so you can assign the two pots to different things on different modes

say mode 1 pot A does spark adding/ subtracting, and pot B swings the exhaust cam
then in mode 2 Pot A swings the inlet cam and Pot B swings the DI timing
in mode 3 Pot A swings the fuel target lambda

so you can map the car properly and quickly without having to stop and re-flash it all the time

so you only have to have 1 ROM version with all the pot tuning then when you're done flash back in the road version of the ROM not that much of a hassle really
