Question about possible damage
 

Hey all,

My roommate texted me today saying he found a "large piece of trim" on the ground by our driveway. I nearly had a heart attack haha. Upon further inspection it was found to have "toyota" embossed on it. Here are the pictures that he sent to me.

I googled the part number shown in the pic, and it looks like it is from a Scion xd. I couldn't find any reference to a Scion FR-S (what I drive) and that part number. I looked and felt around under my car as best I could without jacking it up for where it might have come off, but I couldn't find anything.

Is there any chance that this thing came off my car?

Looks like it might be the weather stripping from the front lip....if I had to guess. Have you scraped your front bumper on any low points lately?

Mine doesn't have that part on the undercarriage... must have come from another car.

I have yet to see any part of the car stamped with Toyota on it besides the cover in the engine bay.

Thats weird.

I've had my bumper/underpanel off MANY times and never seen anything like that.

It was just a guess. Hopefully you're right, and it didn't even come off of your car!
