Extreme High Pitch Noise

Few days ago I noticed a very high pitch ringing noise, similar to this: http://www.freesound.org/people/klan.../sounds/28637/

The sound occurs fairly randomly but seems to appear mostly at low speeds and mostly occurs in 1-4 gear. It makes no difference if the AC or radio is on or off. The sound has not occurred while my engine is idling. It's fairly loud and very hard to pinpoint where the sound is originating from.

The only other type of example I've found of the sound is from an old 370z thread and people were fixing the problem by having their ECU's swapped out.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions that'd be helpful, I plan on taking it in to the dealership Thursday but the randomness of the issue has me worried about them finding a solution in a short test drive.

Edit**
Car was purchased new in May 2013 and currently has just over 6900 miles on it, 6 MT, completely stock.

Let us know as this is my car almost to the tee. I have some rattling type noises from my rear seat I decided to just put up with until I take it for my second oil change (10000 miles). I hate it when the dealer has my car :(

.........

Sorry, I can't hear anything. Maybe my computer is not playing it or my ears are deaf to that tone .. ??

Just guessing ..... could it be a differential whine .. ??

It is incredibly high pitched, it's definitely something electronic and I believe I've found the culprit.

The sound appears when I use my blinkers, particularly my left blinker. Still doesn't happen everytime but when I turn them on I can hear it. Hoping it's just a bad ground or bad relay.
