Another Coilover discussion thread...

Hello,

So pretty much I'm in a dilemma just like a good amount of people here. Though, I thought I had made a decision by investing in BC BR, but after reading a few things, decided to go against it.

What I'm looking for is something that's affordable ($2000 or lower), and good for DD that has the comfort level of stock suspension, if not better. Also with a VERY slim chance of track days.

My choices as of now:
Bilstein B14 PSS
KW V1
Buddy Club D1 Spec

I want your opinions on these three choices, or something similar that's within price range. I don't want to opt myself for something that is $1,000 or less cause you get what you pay for.... Anyways, if you have to speak of something that's beyond the $2,000 price range go eat a pancake and lay in the middle of train tracks, cause I don't care.

Kthxbye!

I currently have the RS-R Sports*i coilovers and is very comfortable for DD on the softest setting. The car feels more planted than how it was from the factory and is more predictable.

The comfortable ride comes from the bushing top mounts instead of the pillowball top mounts. If there is a car that you can test drive who has the RS-R Sports*i, give it a try. You will be impressed.

Second for RS*R Sports I. It's a great DD and I feel they are the most compliant on the street VS other setups.

I'd have to give ours a nod for a true street geared suspension.

KW V3's can be had under $2000. Blow away any of those on that list.

The lower you go, the more you will need to adjust damping softer or else you will get a bouncy, rougher ride.
