Frs interior leather?

So is the interior leather or fake leather? Like the dashboard and door sides
I know the steering wheel is and the seats (back of the front seats)
I plan on giving it a good detail

Real leathers in our car are with red thread.
Those without red thread are fake leather, for ex dashboard.

Isn't all the leather fake...? I thought Subaru only uses synthetic leather...

There is no real leather inside the FRS or BRZ

The last car I owned with "real" leather was a 1979 Lincoln Mark V.

Now, THAT was REAL leather ..... right off the cow ....:)

The steering wheel and shift knob are wrapped in leather, at least in the BRZ...

Interesting read.

"Alcantara is composed of about 68% polyester and 32% polyurethane [4] giving increased durability and stain resistance. The appearance and tactile feel of the material is similar to that of [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suede"]Suede - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame], and it may be incorrectly identified as such."

My mom drove a '77 MkV. Didn't they have a 460 V8 in them? Low HP, but a monster nonetheless. But yea, I remember the oceans of leather in that pseudo-limo.

OP: find out which local shop does the aftermarket leather for your local dealerships. Go there an inquire about having the job done for hundreds less than what it would add to the sticker of a new car(or used). Most use Katzkin.

..........

Yep, 460 cu in (7.5L) engine, producing about the same HP as our twins but with more than twice the torque.

That was a cruiser for sure ..... :D
