Ideal Exhaust setup

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of future plans for improving weight and power. In terms of exhaust setup, I was thinking of an HKS catted header, Nameless downpipe (with high flow cat and helmholtz resonator) and Tomei 60S.

Reasons for above is staying as close as possible to legal in terms of decibels and exhaust emissions as well as weight (single exhaust) though I do love that tomei sound! Also staying catted means I won't need to rush into a tune quickly although I know thats where the real gains are (plan on going for a course to learn the ins and outs first).

Not many Australian dealers about for the above, so I'm guessing import from the US? What are your thoughts on the above! Cheers!

Sounds alright :)

HKS have done a pretty good job regarding weight reduction with their Hi-Power Spec-L Exhaust. Weighs about half as much as the stock exhaust.

Thanks mate. Do you have the HKS? I wonder how they compare... Reposted this in the main forum to get more opinions.

Get the CATLESS HKS header. Don't bother with cattled(less hp).

Won't the cops be onto us though? I do like revving the engine every now and then...
