First thought was pollen but I'm thinking maybe paint from freshly painted lines on the road?

Clay bar and elbow grease.

Definitely looks to be spray paint or something similar :iono:
What @bcj said if it won't come off with a quick detailer and/or wash. |
Iron-X

when i lived in california i got that alot, and was always told it was polution from the air
|
its called rail dust a good wash soap can clean it out
|
Looks like industrial overspray to me. Park downwind from anywhere where paint was being applied? Road striping comes to mind...
I get a few small yellow blobs in the summer on occasion - it's bee pollen that falls off their legs as they fly. But I've never seen it to this extent... |
can you get a more close in shot at that.
but anyway, from the color, that's too vibrant to be rail dust. I also got somethign similar to that, it's pollen left by bees... it appears themost often during spring time for me. How ever, i have never seem it in that large of a scale before. |
Looks like pollen to me! If it's wet or damp pollen will stick to the car and car be hard to get off. The only other thing I can see it being is road paint like others mentioned.
Either way its nothing a good wash cant remove. Maybe clay if its really stuck. |
Looks like the car is totalled from the paint damage. I'll take it off your hands.

Little shards of materials who wanted so bad to become a FRS but this is the closest they will ever get. So sad...
