Top Gear UK back Feb 2nd!!!

Just a important Public Service Announcement. Top Gear UK will be returning for it's 21st season this Sunday Feb. 02. I believe it goes on 8 or 9 pm local UK time GMT 0 so if you're EST it'll probably be at your local "sources" by 4 pm.I live for this TV show, so should you.

Is that on BBC America or in the UK? It seems like we were a week behind the last time it returned in the UK.

This is BBC UK

Finalgear.com usually has them up a couple hours after they air in the UK

Does anyone here watch the US version? I saw a couple of episodes and it's kinda meh... :iono:

The US version just rips the ideas of the UK version but makes it worse. The cheap cars they buy to me at least are totally uninteresting and it's totally rehearsed. I remember there was this one episode where one guy had two of the same cars and the same colours but one was turbo'd one wasn't. Only car guys could tell the difference.

Just Streetfire the UK versions.

I've watched some episodes of the USA version. I've seen the road trip in the supercars, and that was kinda funny. But the UK version trumps it completely. Part of why I like the UK version so much is how well the hosts get along with each other. Sure,I don't get some jokes, but hey, what else is new. :)

I tried so hard to watch TopGear USA. :-(

I always end up cringing and turning my head away, literally, embarrassed for the hosts. They aren't witty or clever in any way. Every joke seems canned, every smile seems forced and every laugh is too hearty. The political incorrectness is noticeably lacking. Some of the things they say are just painfully obvious, and I tend to doubt that they are knowlegable car people at all. :-(

There is only one Top Gear! The US version just lacks the personalities that the UK show has. Just my opinion. The caravanning show where they ultimately set there camper on fire still brings laughter with tears in my eyes. :lol:Absolutely love the show!
