Easy to steal tow hook?
 

Ive been thinking about getting a Cusco tow hook but I'm curious how easy is it for someone to walk by and just unscrew it.

Use Loctite and nobody would be able to mess with it, not even yourself. Color red holds stronger than blue, you can buy them at Walmart. The only way to take them out is to heat them up to 300 degrees(for the red) and I think 200 degrees for the blue.

Tow hooks are mostly just for the look right? Aha ;)

I've never been into the tow hook look but they may serve a better purpose: prevent people from backing up and scratching my bumper. I have to see how far it sticks out.

Don't have to heat it, just hit it with enough leverage. Red Loctite is semi-permanent.

i just put my tow hooks in when i go to the track.

stupid criminals.. that is a much larger pool then stupid ricers...

There are videos of people trying to steal plates, you will be surprised. That's why I am selling my tire hook.

You could always use lie super glue on the threads if your worried.

If its for track days, just put it on for track days otherwise if youre worried about it...dont get it. problem solved spend your money on something that isnt as easily removed
