What is the proper tire size for 18x10?

Might be picking up some 18x10 +44 RT's and do not want to run stretched tires. Is the bare minimum 265's? I know Jive Turkey and King Tut got those tires to fit (on 18x9.5) with minor modifications.

In all serious, 265 works well on a 10j wheel. 275 is essentially the same as a 265 on a 9.5

I've seen 275s used on 9.5s and it looks pretty solid

Great thanks

Depending on the tire they may run wider or more narrow. on a 10 I would suggest 285 for optimal fit.

Depends a lot on the tire company. I've run a Nitto NT555 275/35 on the rears of my car and it works fine

Some say Nitto's run a bit narrow

I ran 255's on an 18x10 on my E90 for years. It definitely has a stretched look to it, and is probably as narrow as I would go on that size wheel

I have seen people running 265s on the tire spec you mentioned. It seems that fitment seems to rely more on the suspension set up. There are brave souls out there that attempt this for us by taking a risk. I appreciate those people. I bet you can find someone on here to give you an opinion based on personal experience of the your desired set up. Keep us posted. Cheers.

I run 265/35s on a 18x9.5 +38. Forgestar F14s Bridgestone potenza tires high performance all season tread width is 10.4" a 275 would be just fine with your setup but I do think they will rub and hit your springs for sure with that offset

When shopping for tires, look at the specs and locate the tread width of each. Some brands may have a 10" tread on a 275 tire, and some on 285.
