AVO Turboworld has moved!

We'll be located at 1535 Auburn Way N, in Auburn, Washington 98002. Phone number, email, etc., stays the same, but there will be a new showroom and plenty of parking available.

Also, thanks to Drift Office, there's dyno tuning, installation, maintenance, and other repairs available. With 3 lifts and 5 bays, lots of room for anybody!

Akari 01-29-2014 05:09 PM

You guys are making this way too tempting! I'm literally 8 minutes away and could use a good turbo + tune..

fukamoto 01-29-2014 05:24 PM

I vote for a grand opening sale...if all else fails, @Akari, I'll go in on a group buy for the AVO stage 1 with ya ;)

AVOturboworld 01-29-2014 05:31 PM

Just come down and we can, ah, discuss it. ;)

Akari 01-29-2014 05:37 PM

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a FA20CLUB kit.. but maybe it would be worth discussing this option.

fukamoto 01-29-2014 05:41 PM

I had an AVO RS-T back in the day and that thing was smooth as hell......until a guy decided to run a stop sign and total my car. I'll probably head out to the new shop on Saturday and see what's up and at least get a ride with an AVO BRZ.

Akari 01-29-2014 05:43 PM

That does bring up a good question: Is there a way I could get a ride in a turbo/tuned BRZ/FRS? I've not yet got the chance to see what an extra few HP feels like in these cars.

Touge_ninja 01-29-2014 07:11 PM

Fa20club has shit quality. If you do research on here you will see why.
@Akari I work in Renton so pm me

Have you seen what has been happening with FA20Club recently?

AVOturboworld 01-29-2014 07:59 PM

I'm (generally) there between 10:30~3pm at the moment, though that should settle down to 10 ~ 5/6/7/motorrebuildwe'reheretill2am over the next few weeks. If I've got my Saturdays free (which is quite often) I can show up with the turbo AVO fr-s, and I am more than willing to give some test drives!

Awesome, I'll have to take you up on that one of these weekends.

That's awesome. Shops are all about deadlines and expectations so 2am nights I can imagine aren't totally out of the norm.

I should be able to swing by around noon at the new shop. Will the Turbo BRZ/FRS be available so I can get some passenger seat time and discuss the turbo? If so, let me know and I'll grab some donuts for the guys out there.

Paul are you building the display FA20 that is on the engine stand? Or another?

Let me know if you'll be around this Saturday, it looks like I'm free which is rare! Would love to discuss a turbo, feel the power difference and maybe grab some lunch if you're up for it.

Once I'm settled in a bit, I'll be tearing that motor down and building it up for some more power, yes.

I'll probably be there around that time, just not before 10~11ish, I'm sleeping in a bit.

Man I hate being stuck in the middle of the country. All you guys are either on the east/west coast or Florida. It's a big drive to get to any of you.

Congrats on the new office! Awesome to have the shop right there too. Sounds like a great one-stop shop for most.

Pete156 01-30-2014 01:06 PM

Excited to see the new shop setup!

Yes, if any place is a one-stop 86 performance center, this is it!

Once you get a ride in Paul's car, you'll be sold! I did, and I was sold a little over a year ago. Smiling ever since.

Now if you can just get Bob to get some signage out on the street...

Urm, no. We're good. :)

Well looks like I'll be heading to the next meet early.

AVOturboworld 02-13-2014 06:12 PM

If anybody is interested, we've got a FA20 torn down that we are going to building for big power. It's on display in the showroom at the moment:

fukamoto 02-13-2014 06:15 PM

@AVOturboworld - what do you guys have planned?

AVOturboworld 02-13-2014 06:22 PM

We are in the "planning" stage right now - trying to decide what compression ratio to aim at, possibilities of a stroker motor, etc.
That's why it's on display, and not being worked on. Soon as we sort out those details, it'll disappear. ;)

Touge_ninja 02-13-2014 08:11 PM

Paul, can you make it disappear into my car? :)

Pete156 02-13-2014 09:30 PM

This is gonna be good. I just have a feeling.
Planning is perhaps THE most important phase. Good Luck!
