Are you going to match the paint on the kit? Looks nice!

So much width, so fresh snow, so much win. :D

I was too chicken to get out in mine, especially since there were 50leven wrecks from the non-driving fools over here. So I just go this picture, lol.

A couple of inches is all it takes for you guys to call it "snowpocalypse"?

Cute.

Pics are cool - just be careful out there. Lots of people have no idea what to do when driving on snow.

I basically did the same thing so had to sleep in my office last night. Had intended on leaving before it started but it hit earlier and harder than I thought. I went about 4 miles, said screw this, turned around and got within one mile of my office when everyone else decided to drive sideways.

I found a friendly driveway, knocked on the door, got permission to park and walked the rest of the way back to my office.

I suspect I'll be here again tonight (Wednesday) given the temps aren't going to improve until Thursday.

The problem was the roads were cold enough and the temps high enough that the fast falling snow turned to ice on contact, or when pressure was applied (driving over it). The road in front of my office has a full coating of half inch ice.

Combine that with improperly winterized cars (because we don't normally need it) and inexperienced drivers and you get a 10 hour commute if you make it home.

Well it's mostly ice at this point and my car along with many others just spin in that stuff. Snow isn't that bad to drive on though.

I was going to make a comment after seeing the pictures but then realized Atlanta is right above Florida. You guys hardly ever see snow so yeah, I'll cut you guys some slack.

It's about the same in London, England where if the snow falls and you can't see the black on the roads no more, it's Armageddon.

Stay safe my Atlanta peeps!

A couple of inches made the entire metro & surrounding areas gridlocked & shut down completely for 12+ hours haha! I'm still stranded at work right now. How appropriate that the Walking Dead series was (is still?) shot here.. If a virus ever broke out, we'd all be dead in 24 hours from the mere fact that this city is horrible in emergency travel/evacuation situations.

Glad someone was able to have fun in the snow though! :D

Lol, we call it a Snowpocalypse if it snows for a few inches and turns the roads icy. Houston Texas is on their 2nd Snowpocalypse. These things only happen to us once every few years.
