I do alot of canyon runs, and I want to upgrade my sway bars. I dont know what set up would be best for my sort of situation. What set up do you run and what brand are they?
Also what are the benefits and draw backs toward a bigger sway bar

Yes

It all depends on the sway bar.. soft/med/stiff..
For canyon I would go with a medium firm sway... you want a little flex going on the car..

With thicker sway bars you'd reduce a lot of the body roll and improve on cornering speeds. A set of anti-sways bar by progress would be ideal. (17.5 rear, 20.6 fronts)

The only draw back would be that your going to have to take easy at first until you become accustomed to the new setup before you get aggressive on your run.

We have the setup on our car and couldn't be happier!

Before you mod the car, do you know how to drive your car to the limits? If you have any doubt on how to have a lot of fun with the stock setup, you shouldn't be modding for the sake of modding.

For canyon runs the stock suspension was perfectly fine.

ya, I mean my suspension is anything but stock, I have coilovers and lower control arms. The alighnment has been set to give me one degree of negetive camber, and im running on 245/45/17. oh and I went from 215 to 225 to 245 so yes I know the cars limits are:D

Bigger is not always better. Sway bars will help with body roll, but you need to know what you are doing as you can easily increase either understeer or oversteer.

Personally I would start first with an alignment and possibly better tires. Those to things alone can make a big difference in how you car handles. And then start looking at things like sway bars, springs, etc.
