Traded in for 2014 BMW 3-series. It was a fun car, but I'm happier now. ;-)

robwbright 04-20-2014 03:37 PM

Odd. You were selling because you didn't need two cars and you wanted to save money for your family, but you traded it in for another, more expensive car?

mtbikingrulz 04-20-2014 03:43 PM

Because I can.

Because you lied

It's nice to know you guys have nothing better to do than troll around the net judging other people you know nothing about.

I could not possibly care less whether you buy one car or ten or whether you keep one or ten. For all I know, you might have inherited 10 million dollars or won the lottery. If so, congratulations! Or perhaps you've chosen to live beyond the means that you initially described. Doesn't matter to me.

But that doesn't change the fact that your initial post in which you stated quite clearly why you were selling was/is completely at odds with what you actually did. Which was curious to me. That said, you have no responsibility or need to explain yourself.

People lie all the time in attempts to sell things. To the OP, enjoy your new car... though I don't think you'll get that raw driver feel from a 3 Series.

mtbikingrulz 04-22-2014 12:34 AM

Wow, funny how no one responds when I'm selling. Now that the car is gone, this post is so popular. Can't you all find something better to do?

lol, people want drama. For some reason (I'm assuming typical age of the forum members), this forum is FULL of it. Enjoy your new BMW! LOVE THEM! Hoping to pick one up for the wife here in the next year or so. I had an M3 for a bit. The car was a GREAT! Had a blast in the year and a half I owned it!

Congrats on your purchase!

mtbikingrulz 04-22-2014 01:03 AM

Suaveflooder - thank you! You said everything I was thinking. Maybe because we are both in SD. Yes, forums are filled with young, immature kids (and adults) who have nothing better to do than cause drama. Funny you mention it, the BMW was actually for my wife! Actually, I originally bought the FRS as a surprise for her, although deep down I knew it was just something I wanted at the time. Anyways, it had a ridiculously high interest rate with hardly any use. Who would have thought I actually saved money going with the 3 series in the long run. Anyways, thanks for the shout out and nice car!
