You guys were able to get the discount on oil? Just went to my Azone down the street and they said they couldn't discount fluids (oil, antifreeze, etc). There was no issue with the oil filter. But the K&N air filter is special order and the discount couldn't apply either.

Decided to walk out empty handed since total savings was $4 and the total was still over 100 bucks. FAIL.

I think MyRx was able to... After a lengthy process involving multiple cashiers and the mgr. it definitely wasn't super smooth.

I also bought an air filter and oil filter with my oil, and apparently that triggered a different special pricing discount that actually ended up being cheaper than using the 20% off coupon for me.

Yea for non in stock it doesn't apply. They should of given you 20% off the rest of the excluded items.

My lengthily process was b/c they signed me up for membership which triggered a lesser discount ($72 --> $84), which I corrected and asked for the %20 discount instead. They complied but it didn't activate my membership purchase. Nonetheless, it was cool just to hang out a bit. Reminded of my high school days at Kragen thinking anything but OEM in that store, my car deserved haha

I already said No special orders the discount was for in stock items only, and they should of given you the oil discount. Why didn't they?

Used on four jugs of oil. Saved $24, so thanks again for hooking everyone up.

Their argument was "not even employees get discount on oil." My argument was "show me where on this coupon does it say excludes oil." They couldn't. But still the cashier/"manager" wouldn't apply the discount on anything sides the oil filter. Never argued for the air filter. Things started to get intense so I decided to walk out, let them put all the sh*t away, grabbed the coupon, and said something to the "manager."

Campbell Azone doesn't believe in the customer is always right. Not even sometimes. Oh well. Effem.

OK well they are lying, I have an employee card and I get 20% all the time for ALL in stock items including oil.. The old policy before was oil, coolant, and certain fluids were never allowed to be discounted, but that changed late last year.

Sorry about that, next time you should hit up another location.

FWIW. I think SJ area policy might be different. I was curious so I called another autozone and the manager confirmed no discount on oils for them either. Scanned oil and his employee card to check too. This guy was much more professional so I believe him.
