DC Sports Dual Canister Exhuast
Anybody try this on their setup yet? Im very interested the price makes me love it lol but it also looks of quality. Im curious does it have any drone and if so is it bearable, and is it deep and bassy or raspy? Thanks guys!

I would say bassy! I know Speedelement on their rocket bunny frs at SEMA and it looked badass! The only thing is that I believe it's a bit heavy compared to some other exhausts on the market. Not sure if heavier than stock or not.

DC has had a bad reputation on quality as of late.

Unfortunately this is a problem with any exhaust on the market. I have a Milltek catback, which is known for making quality parts for the Audi R8, VW, and Bentley and have seen some costumers post terrible welds of their Milltek system; whereas, mine is fine and has no issues. It comes down to quality control and customer service. Haven't heard anything bad about DC's customer service so if you were to have an issue with quality, I'm sure they would help you out.
Here's a video I remember when buying an exhaust:[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDXSu-JDeWg"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDXSu-JDeWg[/ame] |
I have the catback. No real drone, not too loud, I have no complaints. Am really satisfied with it and think its the best bang-for-buck exhaust.

I too have the DC cat-back, and have been very impressed with it. No drone at all at highway speeds which was a must for me, I hate drone. The fit and finish was very high quality. Funny, I thought it was actually a little too quiet at first. After about 3 months, it was fully broken in and now sounds simply awesome. Only gripe is there are four tabs welded to the "sound absorber" (used as a resonator). One of them broke off one side and I had to get it re-welded. Not a big deal, $10 repair. Of course, it might be because I live in salty upstate NY and have the exhaust on year round. Good choice for the price though!!!

anybody pair these with some EL headers?
|
I had this setup before and just recently change it due to wanting a larger diameter piping. I was happy with setup for street use and pretty quiet compared to other on the market. The exhaust is a bit heavier compared to other dual exhaust but it does have that baffle to reduce noise and I found the exhaust note pleasing. My biggest thing that it one of the lowest hanging exhaust so it does scrape easy. The price point nice and I know if you buy it new the honor warranty issue.

Again anybody ever pair this with a header?
Im trying to get the general idea of how loud it'll be. |

are there any other brands that make that helm resonator on the midpipe like dc does? almost purchased q300 last night but after seeing this i'd rather go with dual canister setup from dc sports. they've been around since when i was a kid. fact that they're still around says something. now dc sports or q300
