Who has slept in the BRZ?
So I've at least spent one night in every car I've owned so far...
89 Mazda MPV. My first car, in high school, of course it's too easy to lay down on the bench seat in the back and "sleep" ;) 91 MR2. Worst night of sleep EVER. The seat barely reclines and there is no where to put my legs. My girlfriend at the time was this petite girl and she had a slightly better night of sleep. 2011 WRX hatch. Both my GF and I slept well in the back during one of our road trips. We had camped a few nights, and we just decided to book it home so we spent one night in a rest area parking lot! With the seat folded down, we actually both fit pretty comfortably in the back! (I'm only 5'8" so not too tall) 2006 Miata (aka Hotel Miata). Was on a solo trip to the Tail of the Dragon. Very impromptu trip after I got a new job and had some time in between. The weather dropped down to 9 deg at the camp I was staying at in the mountains (it was so cold, I couldn't sleep the night before), so I said eff this, packed up my stuff, and started driving. Ended up driving to a rest area in Indiana and spending a night in the passenger seat with blankets and jackets blocking the window so the sun wouldn't blind me in the morning. Slept incredibly well, actually! :D 2013 BRZ...I'm thinking about going on a little road trip soon and sleeping in it. With the seat folded down in the back, do you guys think there is enough space for me to lay there?? Who has done it? :) |
Hell no lol... There is no room... U mean u wanna sleep in the trunk? Lol
|
Thinking about it...I have to continue the tradition!! lol
|
hahaha yeah u could probably sleep in there easy
|
no problem.....

I've slept in my FRS... it's not that comfortable....
|
ive slept in the driver side and wifey in the passenger side.. woke up an hr after all sore and kept driving
to uncomfortable |
A hotel room costs about 1/3 of 1% of the cost of the car. Just throwing that out there.

I sleep in mine a lot actually, but it's just little 20 minute naps on my lunch break.
I move the passenger seat forward most of the way and recline the chair as much as it will, it's actually pretty comfortable. You might be able to do something like put down the back seats, tilt the passenger seat forward, and stuff some backpacks/blankets down in the gap between the forward-folded front seat and the folded-down back seats to make it all one surface so you'd have your feet in the trunk and your head up by the dash with your upper body resting on the back of the seat. I've done things like that in my Fit, although nothing quite so extreme since its front and back seats both already fold mostly flat. |
I slept in mine at a 2 day car show. Wasn't that fun. I'm short so put the seats down in the back and kind of put my legs into the trunk. Was parked on a hill though and kept sliding down head first :(

Totally doable and its not that bad honestly.

Slept in it on my roadtrip, wasn't bad. Couldn't recline back as much as I wanted since the car was completely packed, but I still got decently comfortable.
