Best/Preferred gauges for monitoring.
So just wondering, what are others using for gauges, and what are they monitoring. Currently using AEM failsafe for AFR and boost. Looking to add oil and cooling.
Brands, and what are you monitoring? Also, what are you all using to get the feeds to the gauges? |
p3cars vent gauge
Adding in an aftermarket wideband to the gauge aux input |
Innovate dual oil pressure/temp, TurboSmart eboost2, probably will get Innovate AFR
|
Aem fail safe and innovate mtx oil temp and pressure ... 2 gauges, 4 important readings
|
Where and how are you guys getting the oil temp and pressure.

Just Greddy Multi D/A boost gauge at the moment, I will add a few more sensors later on to the gauge (Oil temp)

I put the pressure sensor in place of the stock oil pressure switch, and the temp probe in another spot on top of the block. You need a fitting from Subaru they call an oil gallery plug which has a 1/8 PT thread. Or you could use a sandwich plate with fittings. I am using the Greedy Multi D/A as well with four sensors hooked up. It will monitor/alarm on three at one time. |

This! P3Cars vent gauge for oil temp, coolant temp, boost & vacuum. Innovate LC-2 wideband wired to aux 1 of the P3Cars gauge for AFR. AEM oil pressure sensor wired to aux 2 for oil pressure. Over boost protection programmed into the tune. |

https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...roducts_id=961 Right beside the throttle body there is a hex plug. Unscrew it, screw in the galley, screw in your sensor and wire it. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...95&postcount=8 |
The PLX gauge can be anything you want. You just buy whatever module you need for any particular function. The gauge itself can scroll through a bunch of different functions.

I have Robispec sandwich plate and it has two ports for each pressure and temp. Like dwx said, you can tee into the stock oil pressure sensor (use aluminum fitting brass can break too easily) and the port on top of the block for oil temp http://www.fastwrx.com/oilgalleryplug.html |
