OpenFlash Tablet off-the-shelf E85 Datalogs on stock car
Hi Everyone,
Shiv asked me to create a thread to share my current and future results using the OpenFlash Tablet OTS v1.42 Stage 2 EL E85 map + E85 fuel. He said that, "those logs look as perfect as can be" which was very encouraging and exciting to hear so we wanted to share them with all of you as well. I hope you all find this useful in your E85/power increasing endeavors :D I will be posting freeway run tonight (1/24) in 4th, 5th ad 6th gears to give you another look at the results in higher gears/RPMs. Please keep in mind that I had plenty of learning miles (around 200 miles driving) before I took these logs. I point this out because others may expect to see logs like the ones I am presenting just after their flash (with no learning), which will most likely not result the same or close to mine. According to Shiv, Quote:

Reserved for future results, logs and hopefully dyno runs

looks better than any e-tune log i've ever read... and this is an unedited ots map? hats off to @shiv.

This is a great option for someone like me who would like to keep warantee while increasing power. If anything happens Change oil (remove any evidence of E85) Fill tank with petrol Flash ROM back to stock Take car to dealer Only problem for me is small number of E85 outlets in my area, but it's getting better Thanks |

I think a better person to answer that would be @shiv@vishnu or perhaps @jamesm when they gets the chance :D
I am still continuing to learn about all the variables involved with tuning, etc. so I don't want to voice any inaccuracies or ignorance haha. |

nice work especially as you can easily revert to "stock ROM & FUEL" for warantee purposes, maybe an oil change just to be sure no traces left  At what point do you become concerned with the KC Learned value, is the main concern its highest level or its duration above a certain level ??, normally you would look at IAM but don't have it on G ROM Thanks |
KC learned value should always be whatever the advance value for that load/rpm cell is. so, if you're asking for 4.9deg, it should be 4.9deg. if it's 2.9... you're pulling 2 degrees of timing (probably from flkc, or maybe due to the iam being less than 1).

So I would need to look at the tune tables for the load/rpm and compare with the KC learned if their is a difference then its pulling timing for some reason, what about intake air temp/timing or coolant temp/timing is this independent ?? Whish I had IAM monitoring. I just put some 100 octane in car and going to compare KC learned with what I got on 98 (Australian) hopefully this may give me an indication if the KC learned is due to knock or noise around 2000-4000 appears all 86/brz get it even stock. |
Here's logs from another customer. Also running Stg2 EL E85 v1.42.
Immediately after the flash, it was safe but a little rich: http://www.datazap.me/u/deanveljkovic/oft-ots-stg2-e85 But after a day of learning, perfect!: http://www.datazap.me/u/deanveljkovic/e85-day-2 |

Here is my log. Car is stock aside from a K&N drop in...
@shiv@vishnu The car feels great, but that VVT exhaust hump between 3800-4500 is a little unnerving... makes quite a sound! Let me know what you think! Running 1.42 stage 2 EL E85 http://datazap.me/u/khallin/log-1-10...data=1-2-5-6-9 |
