P0068 code on tuned vortech help please
Car ran great then one morning hot this code can anyone offer a suggestion for this happening?
P0068 Scion DTC Code Definition:
Manifold Absolute Pressure/Mass Air Flow Sensor – Throttle Position Correlation This is just google search, might be wrong but that pulled up. |
Does that mean the msp sensor is bad? Or something with the tune ?
Have you cleared it and seen if it comes back?
What tune are you running?
No leaks/loose hoseclamps? Do you have an aftermarket MAP sensor? Is it scaled properly? Seems that the DTC is finding a difference in the speed density calculation and the expected MAF values.... clear it and doublecheck your hoseclamps and verify the MAP sensor scaling if possible/needed in the tune |

Yea i know just going to the 3 bar and scale it for that. The tuner had issues getting all the scaling for thr 2.5 i think his base tune might have been more ideal for a 3 bar but i dont know. Just hope this fixes it. Worst case ill have them check for leaks as well
It is wierd though only does it when the car starts and drives less than a mile certain times i would think a vaccum leak or something would throw a flag all the time
I used to see that when I had a shit tune from a local tuner. Retuned the car with proper maf/injector scaling and haven't seen it since.
So the injector scaling might be off?
did this get resolved? did you check the vacum hoses under the throttle body?
i got the CEL with the Bosch MAP 2.5 bar sensor on my Sprintex kit.
I Put the OEM map sensor back on cleared the CEL and never came back on. Faulty Map Sensor Verify with your tuner, as in most cases this is tuning related, Faulty Sensor or a leak issue |
