East coast arrival when?

Since the west coast is now receiving their FR-S's, when is the east coast suppose to get theirs? I hate the idea that Everyone is having fun while I am left in the dark.

Pretty sure that they all arrive from boat on west coast, and then travel on train/truck to everywhere else! :o

From what i understand, the vehicles allotted for the southeast region are at the port in Jacksonville, FL and will be shipping out to the dealerships on Friday.

That's my understanding as well, and a couple of folks have their VINs. They've been in port since at least mid last week when I talked to someone at SE Regional HQ who confirmed they were in.

There is a rumor in another thread that one of them was damaged and that caused a delay but no confirmation.

That's what a Scion rep told me yesterday. One of the First 86 was damaged in transit and were waiting on another shipment/replacement so they can be shipped off at the same time. I guess we'll see if it's true if we see a significantly higher VIN # within the Southeast First 86's.

My First 86 car is scheduled for pickup on the 20th.

I will take the damaged one for 90% off and do all kind of naughty things to it. It would be my R&D car and track car. haha

The salesperson I talked to told me that the car I preordered will arrive at the dock in New York May 18. Then at least another 5 days for it to arrive to the dealership in PA.

civicdrivr 05-04-2012 04:02 PM

My dealer told me I should have the car on May 18th, but no VIN yet.

Calum 05-04-2012 04:21 PM

I was talking to my dealer a couple days ago, according to him, my car will be coming in from Vancouver, it should be in my hands between May 31st and June 15th. That's a pretty wide range, but with the amount of traveling the car has to do, I can understand it.

Phaedrus29 05-04-2012 04:37 PM

Non-First-86 here, from PA. Dealer says my FRS will arrive in port in a week and he expects the car to be at the dealership in mid May. Any chance this is right? Seems unlikely when some First 86 folks don't seem to be getting their cars till later.
