Meh I think its worth having the post in here. Its nice to see failures in a non FI method as well that could ultimately relate to a list of possible common issues.

That sucks man. Fuck it, build up your block and get a proper tune by Church Performance. Hope everything works out man. I know the struggle lol. I'm on my 2nd built block. Engine blew from overboost in December, head gasket repair on my built block in May, then spun a rod bearing in June which made me get my second built block lol. Sucks balls! $25k in 7 months on engine bullshit alone.

You are crazy man. After that first failure i'd be wiping my hands clean, at least of the FA motor lol.

I love this car too much I guess lol. Plus it's been paid off since September of last year.

I know the feeling man. Did the same thing with my old 05 STi. Just had to make the financial decision to go separate ways.

Was going WOT down a straight and at 109mph shifted into 3rd instead of 5th for a fraction of a second, caught it before I even let the clutch out and went into neutral to ruin my run but save my motor!

Kraftwerks supercharged C-38. Bent a rod and cracked a piston. Not sure if the belt breaking had anything to do with it, but it happened after the 3rd time from the belt breaking then driving it for 2 weeks NA. I ended up swapping to a 2017 engine and loosening the belt a little.
