If anyone has one sitting around, I would love to talk to you and see if we can come to a deal. I'd gladly trade my stock 2013 unit, but I can already hear the laughter. As the title says, this is partially a "Feeler" thread, since I would like the newer unit, but its not a necessity.

This is true, I remember hearing somewhere that the unit on its own was originally $1000. However, nothing wrong with checking with the community to see if anyone is willing to give me a better price, right?

Not at all. I didn't mean it to sound that way, I just know there's some people who don't realize that these came at a cost for the early adopters.
