Question on pre-ordering the Monogram
 

I had called Scion to get more info on the monogram (which I already read thru the forums here) but they told me that it was a pre-order series only and that they won't be selling them off the lot.

My question is, were the Series 10 a pre-order also?

Not sure if theres already a thread as I just joined. But il give you the info I know as I walked in to preorder a monogram and walked out with a loaded 2014 base model two days ago.


Series 10 I believe was also a preorder. But what do you know they never sold them all up front and now I have found them sitting on just about every lot I have visited in the past week. If all 2000 monograms this year get preordered then yes its pre order only :) In the case that it doesn't sell which is unlikely im sure you can find one on a lot shortly after the preorders are dished out.



What I think youre looking for is, could you buy a monogram off the like like you can a series 10? Im doubtful.

10 series was not a pre-ordered. It is available on site. However, I don't know how the allocation works though.

I see 10 Series at almost every dealer I've gone to. I know there were a few when I first got my FRS. (totaled now, not my fault)

This is why I'm asking if it's pre-order only or if they'll have more on the lot afterwards. But for sure I'm ordering one when my settlement ends.

I guess this is why there are a lot of them still on dealer lots. Or they just aren't that popular in the masses.

I think it is because of the glowing emblem and limited color (silver ignition only). More choices on Monogram.

Im new to the GT86's, as far as im aware the 10 is only available in that one unpopular color correct? I can tell you by the looks of the Monogram with a popular color and the bang for your buck with options, I doubt there will be any after pre orders. I think the color of the 10 hosed there sales and that's why you see them on the lots everywhere still.

I never cared for the color. Only thing I wanted from the 10 was the headlight.

Possible so. Just waiting for the insurance so I can order one. And put my aftermarket parts back on that have been sitting in my garage since.
