Can anyone tell me whather EFI logics is a reliable shop for vortech sc tuning?

Its not their fault right? I think FA20Club should take the responsibility right?

@nelsmar Can you give me some advice? I have an appointment with EFI at the end of this month for Vortech SC. ECUtek tune.

Resurrects a year old thread he doesn't bother to read all of and then asks an off-topic question. You from Jersey or something?

why so funny? lol.

I saw that he did a FA20CLUB remote tune, so I assume that it will be FA20CLUB's fault instead of EFI's.

If you had taken the time to read, you'd understand your question doesn't even make sense. :sign0012::flame:

Yeah... Two different shops... If you had an appointment scheduled in Florida then you would have something to be concerned about. =)

Stories like this.. make me paranoid to go FI on mine. Sorry about your motor, man. A moment of silence for the fallen FA20.

EAGLE5 09-20-2015 05:35 AM

He's currently selling his motor, eventually built by Prime Motoring, and is going for an engine swap.

No I'm not... I drove my car to work today... And the only reason I will be removing it is when I build my other motor and then I will keep my current one as a spare. I have no plans to sell my engine.

My engine was built at Goodspeed over in Arizona. Not prime motoring. You have me confused with FRS300. :P

EAGLE5 09-21-2015 02:23 PM

My bad. I got this mixed up with FRS300's thread.

You might underestimate yourself: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...16#post1466016

TLDR is that FA20 club is/was an unqualified business owned by a now well known scammer-
-From Another Post-
You can also dig through the Florida District Attorney and Florida Department of Agriculture and Florida Seniors Against Crime and a few other groups to find a list of complaints ranging from fraud to theft against him, his aliases, partners, and various companies.
A few of his arrests, for things such as theft, scams:
http://florida.arrests.org/Arrests/Doyen_Brown_3481884/
This one is interesting because he was arrested three weeks after this post karma hit him hard: http://florida.arrests.org/Arrests/D...rown_16459227/
-End of other Post-

He has "owned" several fake tuning companies in the past as well, as well as small eBay store that would scam Honda owners out of parts on a regular basis. The Air-Fuel-Ratio of OPs car was being run at a dangerous level without him knowing "15-17AFR partial throttle" which means for every 15-17 grams of air there was 1 gram of gasoline. That condition is basically a lean burn and with a supercharger that's a lethal death blow to an engine and can melt pistons and such.
@nelsmar Can elaborate on what happened but imho I feel bad for Nelsmar he got screwed over but it taught everyone on the forum a lesson, FA20 Club came out immediately after the car was out and was one of the first to boast things, it teaches us to do more research into the people behind certain companies offering awesome results.

Also the worst part is look at the fa20club websites who.is data:

Haha thanks, I got the general gist of what happened it's really just that I don't necessarily understand any of the technical aspects / terminology. Was still an informative read though.
