Long tube catted headers possible?
 

I know this is pretty much impossible to do with good length on the primaries, good spacing between the collector and cat and keeping the OP flange in the stock position, but is it possible to do if a different length OP was made to match?

I haven't looked that closely under the car to see how much space there is around the OP, but maybe there's room?

Not sure how much of a market there would be for this either? I might be in the minority that wants to keep two cats?

long tube is what nameless(maybe a few others) are doing, or the closest thing we will see with this engine. They put the extra tube in front of the belts instead the classic v8 design where it goes down the side of the car. I am guessing for space reasons. there was talk about the nice(high flow) cats would not hold up that close to the engine due to heat they would die too quickly to be worth it. I do not think anyone wants to put a standard cat in their header because it would cut down on the dyno.

The reason nameless isn't running a cat is there's no room for it with proper length primaries, not because the cat would suffer from the heat. EGT's are MUCH hotter than ambient under hood temperature, so it doesn't matter if the cat is touching the block or two feet away.

FA20club and P&L already offer long tube catted headers

FA20club are most definitely not long tubes. The primaries aren't anywhere near as long as on the nameless. All the extra length is after the collector.

I haven't looked at nameless, p&l or fa20club headers up close, but I would bet the primaries on the nameless are almost twice as long as the p&l and fa20club.
