FS: Custom Ipad Mini Radio Dash Bezel
 

I set out to make a custom dash piece for a ipad mini. I hated all the special brackets companies made and none looked that good.

So I used a kit from Soundmanca.com and the factory radio bezel. Bondo and sanded it to the factory radio piece. The ipad is held in with a magnetic strip off the apple cover that has been glued into the top.

I original made it for myself but, I just decided to go another direction.
So I'm selling it to anyone who may want to use an ipad as their music/navigation player.

I did paint it with some black plasti dip but it didnt come out right so I took it off. Taking it off made swirls on the black primer below.

You will need to sand the original primer off and then apply your own along with paint. The positive is, now you can paint it any color you want.

i'm happy with my nexus 7, but this is legit. you could probably make some good monies if you made a mold of this and mass produced them.

does the $500 include the iPad?

It's a great piece man ... I would love to give you $500 but its not carbon fiber either and $500 is a little steep when its a home made piece.

If I was OP I'd take serious offence, the mold itself from Soundman - Doug is like $200+ already plus oem bezel and then hes already done 80% of the work.

$400 bucks would be about right and is a great deal.
