2013 FR-S A/T whine....
 

I can't say for sure if it's been there since new, but I've been hearing a bit of transmission whine. It's most obvious on acceleration, and quite noticeable when driving next to a barrier or next to a tunnel wall. It's not that bad, but I'm thinking of having the fluid changed at 7500. Anyone else?

You want to change your 100,000 mile full synthetic ATF at 7500 miles? No offense but IMO that is a very bad idea. If you're really hearing transmission whine (which I doubt very much), it's already too late and changing ATF won't help save your failing transmission nor will it help with your eventual warranty claim.

You have warranty, use it.

I think it's been said before that this is normal. I get this as well but not sweating it, i like the sound :P

Free supercharger whine?

It's the supercharger in the trans.

Listen man, a lot of people pay thousands to get that whine. You got it with your purchase price so you should be grinning ear to ear.
