Scion steering wheel emblem replacement: any companies planning to make one?

Just wondering why no companies have made any replacements for the steering wheel logo yet. I mean, it isn't super complex or anything, lol. And, it would most likely sell like hotcakes. A knockoff toyota logo would be sufficient. Also, imo, I think it'll look nicer/cleaner in a similar grey/dull-silver that is found on the oem Scion FR-S steering wheel emblem; rather than chrome (chrome steering wheel emblems are more reminiscent of sedans and luxury cars and look out of place on an inexpensive sports coupe). Even a black out toyota or carbon fibre faux toyota emblem would look nice. Or, even just a straight up Blank oval pleather replacement would look nice.

This looks swell to:

...too bad it's only meant for the jdm wheel and it's a circle that won't fit the oval space on the Scion. Nice nonetheless.

I think it's only a matter of time for people to start producing, decently made, clean, steering wheel emblem replacement. I know it won't be a factory genuine oem, Toyota part ..but at least it won't be scion anymore ;)

I'd be very interested in a well/decent-made knockoff toyota emblem; and also a straight up stealthy Blank black oval as well.

Looks good. How did you get the leather texture on the emblem? Paint or wrapped with leather/pleather?

ripped the original emblem off, dremeled what was left down, I ordered the T emblem, then plasti dipped it. Then got a piece of spare leather I had, cut to shape of emblem, glued to emblem, waited and then glued entire thing to steering wheel. Presto chango I've got a Toyota haha

Although I did order the emblem because I was told if fit in the steering wheel emblem hole and it didn't. It was to big so I just worked with it.

Best and most oem one I've seen. The black leather non-chrome emblem makes it ;)

Gorgeous. I'm not very crafty so it will probably fail, but I plan on attempting to just smooth it out and remove the badge entirely. May do a carbon fiber wrap for the whole center of the wheel. I have the Subaru so I think it's a tad different, but you know.

no company in their right mind would sell any alterations/modifications to a factory airbag. So the answer is no.
