simple mods
What are some simple or cheap mods that can be appreciated in everyday driving? I'm not looking to spend thousands or even a few hundred.
I don't track and I don't drift but I do like to break the back end out every once in a while on turns. I do have the flossy shift knob which I thought was a great purchase? Any other ideas? I'm still on the edge for a lighter flywheel.. |
Exhaust.

Exhaust system... tint...

Tint. Tires.
|
Mtec shift springs. They make the shifter feel more solid and gears engage smoother. Less than 40 bucks shipped.
|
Agreed. Tires and exhaust were fairly cheap, but were great additions. I've actually found updating small interior pieces to be the most satisfying though (you do spend the most time inside the car after all).

TRD fuel cap cover ! Does nothing at all, but you smile every time you get gas.
Anything that makes you smile when you get gas has got to be good! |
tint is a very useful one, especially in NY (but i can't remember if it's legal there for passenger cars), and some lug nut locks (depending on where in NY you are.)
i say the second because i used to live on the island, but my sisters were in the city for a couple of years, and they had some big problems with that. |
go autox its $40 its a driver mod

A replacement for the RC car radio antenna is always good. Shark fin or stubby.
