i posted the April build book for the LA region last month. Now the May build book has been released and the good news is that there's more 323 vs. 218 but now the automatic percentage has grown from 51% to 60%.

We've notified the region of this and were told it will be closely monitored and changed if necessary.

Month 1 (April): 50% 6252 (Auto), 50% 6253 (Manual)
Month 2 (May): 60% 6252 (Auto), 40% 6253 (Manual)
Month 3 (June): TBA (wasn't disclosed to us)

Based on all pre-orders in the region, we should be going back to at least 50/50, though a 30/70 would make more sense. We'll see what happens.

Just for reference:
Color dispersion for our orders (Orders from the weekend haven't been added yet). Only 7 of those are Automatic.

it was weird when we saw build book in april because probably like you we have more manual sold orders than autos (10/2 ratio).

its either they're sending more of the manuals in their other markets and there's very few parts or they feel that N/A buyers would prefer the auto.

you figure the the first 6 months to a year the buyers will be the enthusiast and they will always favor the manual. then after a year we will get the people that see them on the road and think they're nice and will buy it not necessarily because its a sports car.
