Cars and Coffee Irvine
 

Is there ever an organized meet at Cars & Coffee in Irvine? There are usually a few random FRS/BRZ, but I haven't seen a huge turnout. This should happen.

To plan a huge turnout, it's probably best to get in touch to schedule something with the organizers. Unofficial big groups are usually frowned upon.

Most probably are just in the spectator lot, which if most are stock, should be. I'm not trying to self-hate on FRS/BRZ owners, but the spirit of the show (I've lived in Irvine pretty much all my life and have attended CnC on and off for years) has always been to see rare and/or unique vehicles. Yes, you can say that our cars are still pretty rare, but 2-3 examples is more than enough. Unfortunately, the rich, supercar, and american muscle crowd don't believe in this spirit (just as I don't need to see 10+ FRS/BRZs, I don't need to see 10+ Ferrari F430s), but large groups of the same vehicles have always killed the show.

I actually tend to agree with you, most (no all) large groups of the same car do take the excitement out of the show. I also have been going for years to see the rare and exotic wares that people display. The few FRS?BRZs that I have seen have been tastefully modified, so as to present something different to look at, at least for a twins fan.

Tell that to the 15 plus mustangs the 911 and corvette and camaros that show up every week
