Hyper Rev magazine - basically a massive parts catalogue.
So it appears these magazines are realitively unknown. They're basically a magazine where each issue is specific to a platform.
It's 300pages of interviews, articles, tests, ads, and the back 3rd is just a huge catalogue. Every time I buy a new car, this is the first thing I buy. Trust me, buy this. There is MUCH more parts available for this car than you realise. You can get them off yahoo.jp, or some switched on US vendor might bring a heap in. There's already two editions. Here's some quicks pics. Like I said, there's more than 300 pages per book. It'll be the best $10-$20 you spend on this car. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...psk7cfx2af.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...psrxbwu14t.jpg |

I can't read Japanese either, but at the very least it shows you the brand of someone who is making something, or their website, so you can then go find out more info. Sometimes they have English on their website, not often though. I've contacted plenty of places and they reply a few days later using a translator. It's fairly broken English, but no different to what I remember of going to Taco Bell in the states last time I was there. |

I wouldn't say they were "relatively unknown"... I had collected each volume from the first issues through around #60, then sold the entire thing on Ebay.
Did the same with Drift Tengoku, Option 2, and other magazines over several years. This was about close to 10 years ago. The magazine series is quite old, as evidenced by the 9 volumes of 180SX/Silvia. -alex |
I think I can get most of this info free searching ft86club.com
Combine that with my inability to read a language other than English, I will save my $ and get my info here |
Time to pick this up. Having a friend in japan, and being able to read some japanese is a huge plus.

I found 2 editions, #169 and #173, which are vol 1 and 2 for this car, respectively |
Evasive Motorsports had one that I was looking through while there. All kinds of cool stuff.

That's like a picture book for us.
