Just wanted to share recent update from APR (B7 RS4 Content)

I used to own 2006 A4 2.0T Quattro before FR-S, but always wished for RS4, even until now. APR recently announced their another version of supercharger on V8 RS4... It's amazing how they turn a beast into a monster.

Not to get off topic, but did anyone else see the avatar first before reading the post, and then proceed to reach the post in Kevin Malone's voice?

Back on topic: Too bad they couldn't keep the stock torque curve :\ Other than that...

Awesome, but did anyone catch that price tag?

$18k? :confused0068: And that doesn't include the cost of the mandatory HPFPs ($1.3-1.8k), recommended clutch upgrade, or labor.

I know, different platform, but to show how cheap the Twins are in comparison, for $15k (including HPFP, clutch, and labor/tuning), Dynosty can build you an FR-S that will run similar times (11.1 @ 128) on e85 and slicks.

APR tunes are pretty amazing. Also what they offer on hand such as security to the cars programming is worth it by its self.

I was thinking about getting a tune on my fathers RS7, but it seems someone already did and is having trouble with the coil packs, stage 1 too.

Ahh, maybe one day.

It's only worth $18k if actually made the Audi reliable.

4.2L wasn't so bad, honestly they all burn oil...

40% power increase? Wat. The 1740cc blower has >20% more power in it, especially because these TVS chargers operate most efficiently at 0.6-0.8 bar. Smaller pulley go go!

now you guys know how low the innovate kit is actually priced at.

I use to have a 08 RS4 got it used from my boss, I did not think I needed more hp on that V8 well thats me I wanted less weight though. wife & my daughter demanded a SUV but I got a go ahead for a sports car, sold it made a good profit and now driving a boring Land Rover

Crazy seeing such a large car doing 10s lol.

Time to buy more mods for my wife's Audi...

Some of you members have some money! but yeah, RS4 is a great car, but it burns a lot of oil and problem with direction injection gunk buildup is horrible..

Audis have many problems with coilpacks.. I used to drive with extra 2-3 packs in the trunk in case one blows. I guess they didn't put enough effort even on the RS7 models.

I've always had a special place in my heart for the S and especially RS Audis. Yeah, that 4.2L burns a little oil, but are typically very dependable other than that. When I say a little I mean 1 qt every 4000 miles in mine. Not bad considering the huge oil reservoir on those things.

I loved my 2004 S4 Avant. Still wish I would have kept it as I'll never find another used car deal like when I bought it. I got it in 2008, it was MY 2004 MSRP for $51K and I bought it for $18K and it was BB value of $22K at the time. Clean title. Good maintenance. :-( I would never buy a car like that new. They depreciate in years 1-3 like a mother f&%$#.

This. It was honestly the only thing I didn't like about my 2004 S4 Avant. That's a 4000 lb car so I did a lot of light weight stuff to it. Ran low 14s stock. After I did complete exhaust, tune, tons of weight mods it ran a 13.1. Pretty badass in a big heavy luxury wagon.

If you are going to modify a car like the Audi and BMW brands you are going to pay a premium for parts compared to cars like BRZs, WRXs, STis, Evos, et cetera. The aftermarket support and pricing is awesome for our BRZ/FRS cars in comparison.

yes it is, I didn't do anything except add a carbon pads and steel lines, for me its just a brute force car sadly I don't miss it.

An exhaust is a must in an Audi...
