Depends on your budget bro. Also are you going FI??
|
I can't tell you what to do, but I can tell you what I did.
Started with drop in K/N air filter. Then CatBack. Then did intake. Then Front pipe. Supercharger going in next month with headers, down pipe and tune. |
Depends on the parts. But I want it to be worth the money . Nothing crazily expensive though. But I just want it to be a nice ride with more than what it has stock, with some power in her. What's FI?

Forced Induction. Either turbo or supercharger

Welcome to the forums!
FI stands for Forced Induction, turbo's / superchargers You may want to search a few things on the forum and see what other members have done in the past. It's possible that many of your questions have already been answered. Lots of great information on this forum Let me know if you need help with lighting upgrades Nick C. |

Thanks Nick C., I'm looking for a turbo, I don't want a turbo to rough though. Just to give it a bigger kick than what it already has, and still run great with no problems in the future

Lets start backwards: Statement 3: What does this mean? Nice ride as in nice car? Or nice ride as in nice feel? What do you mean by more power? Power to slide on the track, power to win drag races, or power to pass other cars on the freeway? Statement 2: What is "crazily"? For some, dropping more than 10% of the car's costs in upgrades is crazy. For others, crazy might be defined per part, so a $5000 turbo kit is expensive, but would be willing to do a piecemeal upgrade despite a higher total cost. Are you going to factor costs as a *whole* or *per part*? Statement 1: Bottom line, this depends on what you want. For some, the $5000 Visconti SuperCharger kit is worth it. For others it is severely overpriced. Both groups will have various, valid reasons. So lets start with my recommendation: Step 1: Drive the car for its break in. 7500 miles. Then come back to this issue. You may find that the car is just fine power wise for what you're doing with it (daily driver), so you just want cosmetic upgrades. Hopefully by then you'll have delved into the many car journals we have here and gotten idea of what you like aesthetically. Step 2: Actualize your budget. Set a budget, and stick with it. Step 3: Actualize your goals. What is the minimum you want? Step 4: Actualize your dreams. Work your goals around your budget, not your budget around your goals. Then enjoy your car! And if you find your not satisfied, you can re-work the car again, with another set budget. |
