Chances are your t-tap cut the low beam wire inside the insulated jacket. You'll probably have to splice the wire. The low beam wires are pretty thin, so it wouldn't be hard to do.

Hey sorry i didnt see this post since ive been busy, but if you havent installed them yet, yes they are plug and play to an extent, have to t-tap the wire that goes to your low beams and putting an wire to the + battery. otherwise its simple i just watched the youtube video they had, and installed everything in about 1 hour very slowly.

Thanks for the reply. I figured I wouldn't have to wire tap if I have preinstalled foglight system in the BRZ limited.

BTW, im thinking of getting this kit .
what type of light did you get ? I notice you can get the std or the LED or the HID ?

too many choices - I have seen the std bulb, but I wonder what the LED looks like and how bright they are compared to the HID or std bulb.

I bought this in amber, and gonna install them soon. i dont think u can use the hids replacements for the fogs. Title was kind of misleading with the HID part it was more of using fog light kit with hid conversion kit.

u can probably get the 80w if you really want to torture people :D, but im just going for the slight contrast :)
