UPDATED!!! My new Niche wheels. Need your input

Hi Guys. I need your opinion about my new wheels. They will be going on my white EVO X. They are a whopping 20x10.5.

Now before you start flaming me here is the back story. Working in this industry you get a lot of perks. Niche wheels wanted to move their new line up for tuner cars and decided to use mine for a shoot and promotion.

They said it will have to be 2 peice 20's but i can choose the size and color combination. They wanted something crazy so I gave them my pic of Limelight with a black gloss lip.

I know 20's would look ridiculous on an EVO but ISS made theirs look good so why not.

So here they are!

I love the color but not excited on the size. Can't complain! Getting photos and wheels done is an awesome privileged. I'll post some pics after the shoot next week.

Now... You can start bashing.

EDIT

PHOTO SHOOT DONE PICS ARE UP

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I actually think that will look good. I agree though, way to heavy for my taste

I like em.

I like the Enkeis behind them much better. I didn't even know Niche still made wheels. Throw the Niches on for the photoshoot and then sell them to the dapper crowd and put the Enkeis on.

I don't really care for the color.

The problem with vivid colors on wheels is that it grabs attention in the wrong way. You want the wheels to be great looking but you mostly want the silhouette of the car to be the first thing that caches someones eye, not the wheels.

You want your shoes to look good, but you don't want them to be the center of attention, then everything else will just fall apart.

My 3 cents...

My thoughts exactly. Makes me think of those POS cars with $5000 24" rims on them..

OP, I think those rims are just a little bit too much.. but they aren't the worst things I have ever seen. 20" is just too much for the 86 IMO, and the green just puts it over the top.

Good thing they're going on his EVO X then, right? ;)

Another opinion here, but I agree completely with Tut: do the shoot, then sell the wheels and rock something you prefer. Seems like a pretty easy thing to do?

The wheel itself is ok but the color combo is meh. I think it would've looked better with a green center and polished lips.

I reserve judgment until I see them on the car.

Polished lip. And try to tie in the green with some other accents on the vehicle. It will look great. I wouldn't worry about the size too much. Buy some RPF1s for the track, done.

At first glance the 20" wheel on the EVO doesn't look that bad. I like the style (I'm a sucker for mesh wheels though) and the amount of lip (I'm also a sucker for massive lip). Personally though, I wouldn't have painted them, but if you must, I'd at least keep the lip polished and not paint it. Also, if the choice was available, I'd have gone with a smaller diameter, but I know you said that wasn't an option.

Tell Niche to make that wheel in a 15x10, 4x100, +15 so I can run it on my soon-to-be widebody Miata!!
