Question for the the 2014 Brz Nav Owners (BT Question)
 

In regards to the bluetooth music feature in the 2014 Subaru BRZ, Can you change your songs/tracks from your head unit? Also, does it display song information?

I'm looking into picking up a BRZ next week but i really want to know if it has this feature. i'm using an iPhone 5 if that helps at all.

I have 2013 and if the head unit hasn't changed, also an iPhone 5s. You can advance forward or backwards and the info etc is displayed. Many times with the unit, features are disabled whilst in motion... your safety is the line. The only quirk I've found with BT connection is the info won't show up sometimes. All I do to restore is to disconnect the BT connection and re establish. Hope helps. Go to the dealer and play with the head unit and your phone.

I have a 14 BRZ and a iphone 5, and the head unit only sometimes shows the song info using BT. It will always allow you to skip to the next song.

You can see the songs in your playlist and click on them too.

If you plug the phone in though, it should work better, and show the album artwork.

I have a 13' and an htc one m8 and I can change songs from the head unit
