Dress/Work shoes for driving
 

Tried looking for information but there doesn't seem to be much on the internet. Starting to wonder if it even exists.

Unfortunately, I work in a place that requires me to dress in professional business attire and therefore I have to wear dress shoes. Does anyone have experience with wearing dress shoes and driving. I've driven in Clarke's dress shoes before, and although they look very nice, they're uncomfortable when driving, and I can hardly feel any feedback from the pedals. Sometimes I can't even tell when the clutch is engagement point is. I'm assuming it's because of the hard sole.

Basically what I am looking for is a pair of dress shoes, or something that can pass off as dress shoes that are comfortable to drive in. Yes I am aware of "driving shoes" but I do not like the way they look really, plus they wouldn't fly in my company. I was temporarily getting away with my black air force ones when I first started working, but now I have to "give off management appearance", some stupid corporate wording like that.

For some reason the thought pops into my head, I wonder how James Bond feels when hes driving in his dress attire. lol

I actually have a nice pair of dress shoes from Kohl's, I will let you know what it is called when I get home. Also when you buy your shoes make sure they fit night and kind of tight so you have a good feel when you are driving. Another possibility could be wearing regular shoes or sandals then put your dress shoes on when you arrive to work.

I drove in Bostonian shoes for work for about a month; felt like James Bond in the 86; they were a similar style to the dress shoes you posted

You need thin soles so you can feel. Real thin leather. High end! Just kidding, but not about the thin part.

I wear dress shoes everyday for work. No problems. Right now got Docker trustee and all good

Look into Brazilian made Sandro Moscoloni shoes....seriously the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and they are excellent for driving, almost as good as actual driving shoes! Not too expensive either.

I pass these off as "dress shoes" at the bank I work for. Perfect for driving

i have these pairs from Rockport and they are very comfortable, i think they work great for driving too...

All these soles are too big. I wear my Steve Madden dress shoes every day I work, and because it has barely anything on the sole, I can easily heel-toe to work :D
