Made a facebook event since there are lots of locals who don't check up on the forum! We need to figure out a meet location before the show. like 8:30am-9am ish somewhere so we can park n chat before we get pushed into the crowds.

I'll be more interested in going if they bring some of those detroit auto show concepts here like the FT1!

I'll probably be going. I wish I had my car on display. I'd just sit off to the side and listen to what people have to say or install a microphone near by to hear. I'm always curious to know what people say. I'm surprised Wally didn't somehow work his way into the car show with his car. ;)

There will be the 2015 STi showing at the portland auto show!!! I guess you are my google search today. :)

I wonder which Toyota dealership (or if Scion Corporate) does the Ride and Drive events at the show there. Maybe we can get into contact with them and do a hard park sesh. ;D

The Portland Auto Show is a dealer sponsored show, not an automaker sponsored show which is why we don't get any concepts. You've gotta go to Detroit/Chicago/NYC/LA to see those.

Josh with my winter build schedule i could make sure i would be available for the event. The orange RB BRZ is the Forgestar Sema car from 2012. The owner of Phastek colors in seattle bought the car as is for 50k. So all the work you see on it was done by Forgestar for Sema. I saw this car at AutoCon and Hot Import nights this last summer after he bought it. Also he likes to register the car in his wifes name so she gets best female build while he shows his baby blue nsx.

Smart. Man knows how to win.

Kind of crappy when winning with another company's car. I would have more respect if they built it themselves even if it was an exact duplicate.

Almost the same concept as taking a car to a shop and pointing at a bunch of stuff for them to purchase/install for you. :iono:
