winter driving school video
 

past saturday husband and i took the ilr winter advanced driving school in minden
some crazy weather with lots of rain, and above freezing temperatures made everything covered in ice with a layer of water on top

this is my husband trying to drive as close to the cones as possible, but sliding everywhere instead
when i did this challenge, i couldn't go faster than 10km/h even with the gas pedal down all the way....

it was quite fun trying to avoid the obstacles, and sliding everywhere.....i'm thinking of taking their other course once spring comes

Is that pure ice you are driving on top of???

If it is, he's doing a great job but I can't be sure since I don't know / can't see what the course is supposed to be like.

yes, ice with layer of water on top
it was too slippery to walk on it

the course is two circles, and the point is to keep as close to the cones as possible as they represent the road curb

this is me driving on another challenge
was trying to get to 50km/h and it wasn't easy, the car was sliding everywhere
this is more slush than water, but underneath it's all ice
