TRD Retro Wheels

Does anyone know if TRD is going to release the 15's from the TRD 86 concept back from January?

The real funny part is that you can see in the picture the same suspension as featured in the "all-new" Corvette.

I actually really dig these. Nicely designed 5 lug version, a mild 17" and has a nice deep lip. Best wheels Rota has released, (aside from the RKRs).

Just wished they came in a polished lip (with the same grey center/spokes).

Are these Rota Retro 2's actually out yet? I can't seem to find them to check pricing... and compare/decide versus the Hayashi's.

Directly from the Z06 Chief Engineer:

We use a tranverse composite spring because it is the lowest mass, highest performance solution for automotive springs. Other vehicles use steel coils primarily for low tooling cost and easy tuning.

The C7R uses coil springs because a race car needs that adjustability.

Low offset deep SSR Longchamps would look sweet too.. too bad they never made any in 5x100 (I could be wrong doh)

Maybe Rota will make some Longchamp knockoffs for the gt86 ;)
