Who has the FT86-SpeedFactory resonated V1?
Anyone running this? I have the unresonated, along with a catted front pipe and overpipe. I love the sound but I'm getting their catted headers so I want to get the resonated mid pipe. Whoever has it, what's your setup? Any videos?
I'm just wondering how much the resonator is gonna quiet the exhaust, with the catted headers. I don't want to lose much sound, just drone. @FT-86 SpeedFactory, I know we've discussed this and hopefully you'll have some videos soon, but do you think it'll quiet it? Or will adding the catted headers offset the resonator so it'll sound nearly the same, just more of the UEL rumble. Sorry that I'm so indecisive. I just don't want to regret doing anything. |
^ do what I did and buy resonated and unresonated catted and uncatted of everything.

I have also been wondering about this. I'm planning on purchasing Ft-86 SpeedFactory's catted header and a full header back system, but I'm having trouble deciding on the catback (or possibly axle back) portion. The resonated V2 sounds great (though a bit loud for my daily driver), so I'm guessing that the resonated V1 would sound great also, though I have yet to see any videos confirming this.

I have a catted (unresonated) V2 and it is the best sounding exhaust I have heard on our cars. It's off for repairs right now, but I cannot WAIT to get it back on. I am sure the V1 sounds just as good, though. =)

Same here. Their videos with the header on the stock exhaust sounded like you couldn't even hear there was a header on the car though. I don't think it will increase drone if there already isn't any in your system. But we will see.

Does the V1 drone? I love the sound I hear on the videos but I'm considering this exhaust on my daily driver.
