Turbo BRZ Top Speed?
 

Hey Guys,

I am just curious, is there a documented top speed for a turbo BRZ?
I am curious how much further the crawford brz could stretch the top end.

top speed isn't going to go much beyond 139 (iirc) unless you change out transmission or final drive gear. (still waking up, think those are the 2 things that you can change)

Pretty sure, horsepower and drag not being a factor, the top speed of our car is close to 170 6th gear @ 7400rpm. You could raise the redline, bigger diameter tires, etc to increase that even more without getting into the transmission or rear end. But that is all assuming you have the horsepower to get there.

I've seen 142 in a stock car. It took FOREVER to get there so I haven't tried to repeat it.

My tach sits right around 3600 at 80mph IIRC. Most of the turbo kits are capable of giving you enough power to take it to the stock rev limiter in 6th, which would be somewhere in the 160-165 region, assuming I'm remembering that 3600rpm/80mph correctly.

I know the Jackson Racing Supercharger kit will do at LEAST 160mph, in CARB legal form.

You will most likely just end up gear limited depending on the power level

I think 5th gear might be...
