Is there a koni suspension kit?

Thinking about just getting a whole new suspension setup, been looking around to see if there is a good deal on koni. At least f/r struts.

Yes just struts themselves though and their inserts where you mod them. Several vendors here sell them.

Ok cool. I looked around and saw that people were having to modify to get them installed. I got confused, were they just installing inserts and is that why they had to modify them, or do you also have to modify to install the whole koni strut?

Or maybe I'm just confused, I don't know too much about suspension heh

The Konis are inserts in the front and replacement shocks in the rear. In order to install the fronts you have to cut the top off the stock struts, pull everything out of the housing, and then install the Koni insert into the housing.

There are some places like Turn In Concepts who will sell you a complete setup with them already installed in a pair of donor struts, or you can buy a used set from someone on the board if you don't want to hack yours up.

Yea that's interesting. Seems kinda weird that koni wouldn't have just built the whole front strut assembly by now. Thanks.
